In this month’s episode, we invite everyone to check out our video that was recently released featuring Orientation Instructor Cesar Atilano. Cesar discusses the annual International Road Check and when, where, and how to obtain snow socks, and chains. Yvette Turrieta our Director of Employee Benefits fills us in on the upcoming Open Enrollment period and reviews benefits available to the MVT family. The week of September 13th was National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Our President & CEO Royal Jones thanked truck drivers nationwide on all of MVT’s social media pages. Stevie Lopez, one of MVT’s accounting clerks shares some helpful reminders with the MVT family about staff payroll and how to view useful documents in PaperSmart. Don’t forget you are eligible to receive a $500 bonus when you refer a new driver to the company. The FMCSA has revised Hours of Service (HOS) regulations that provide greater flexibility for drivers. This change went into effect September 29th, 2020. Victor Segura, one of our Training Coordinators, talks to us about the revised HOS regulations. You can find more information regarding these changes on all of our social media pages.
