TRAILER AND POWER DETENTION UPDATES At MVT, we value our drivers’ time and equipment usage, which is why we’ve improved how we handle Power and Trailer Detention. –Power Detention charges are applied when a customer keeps our driver waiting beyond the free two-hour window –Trailer Detention occurs when our trailers are held on-site past their free time. *Both fees vary by customer contract and are crucial for optimizing our operations. Together with Briane Vasquez, we’ve streamlined the systems to detect and calculate detention more efficiently, simplifying validations and approvals. Under Daniela Soto’s leadership in Nuevo Laredo, our team is significantly outperforming last year’s numbers, boosting revenue and improving operations. This progress not only enhances our revenue but also optimizes driver and equipment utilization, strengthening our customer partnerships.
