What an incredible Driver Appreciation Day across all our terminals!
Four times a year, we celebrate the drivers who keep MVT moving. This quarter’s event featured great food, giveaways, and a special recognition of our top driver.
Congratulations to Reynaldo Ramirez, an MVT family member since 2007, and our Third Quarter Grand Prize Winner! Reynaldo achieved an outstanding 11.96 MPG average, just 1.10% idle time, and 32,456 miles driven while maintaining a perfect CSA score, earning a brand-new car courtesy of President and CEO Royal Jones.

Hospital Angeles Benefit Update
We have an important benefits update for employees enrolled in the MVT U.S. Medical Plan.
Beginning August 1, 2026, MVT is covering the cost of all eligible healthcare services received at Hospital Angeles for the remainder of 2026.
Employees enrolled in the MVT U.S. Medical Plan can receive eligible healthcare services with no payment due at the time of service during 2026.
Getting care is simple. Schedule your appointment, bring your MVT Medical ID card, and the Hospital Angeles team will guide you through the process from check-in to check-out.

Tell Me Something Good
Behind every successful company are people who go above and beyond, and this month we’d like to recognize two outstanding members of the MVT family.
Michael Sterling nominated Nicholas Wininger, Collections Lead, for his attention to detail, strong communication, and willingness to work alongside his teammates to keep things moving efficiently. Michael shared that Nicholas is a tremendous asset to the company and someone who makes collaboration easy.
We’re also recognizing Cindy Quintanilla, Driver Orientation Instructor, who was nominated by Melonie Roberson. Melonie praised Cindy for her years of dedication, her support of both drivers and coworkers, and her willingness to assist with orientation and remote onboarding whenever needed. Cindy’s positive attitude and commitment to helping others make a difference every day.

Safety Minute
Before making a left turn, move into the correct lane early, reduce your speed, signal your intentions, and always clear your blind spots before turning.
Keep the steering wheel straight until it’s safe to complete the turn, and make sure oncoming traffic and pedestrians are clear before proceeding.
Taking a few extra seconds can help prevent serious accidents and keep everyone on the road safe.
