Fourth Quarter Driver Appreciation Day
We had such a great time celebrating our Fourth Quarter Driver Appreciation Day for 2025 at all our terminals. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day special. One of the biggest highlights was recognizing our Quarterly Car Winner, Marion Tyler from Division 690, who earned the best MPG average and achieved a perfect CSA score for the quarter.
This year, we also had the privilege of recognizing someone who continues to set the standard year after year. Roberto Sandoval earned both Driver of the Year and Mentor of the Year for 2025, marking his seventh time receiving the Driver of the Year title. His consistency, his dedication, and his support for other drivers have made a true impact across our organization. Congratulations Roberto, we are proud to honor you once again.

Truckload Carrier of the Year
We are proud to announce that Mesilla Valley Transportation has been named Lowe’s 2025 Truckload Carrier of the Year. This recognition reflects the strength of our partnership with Lowe’s Companies, Inc. and the trust they place in us to support their supply chain. It also highlights the teamwork seen across every part of the MVT Family.
Our drivers keep freight moving on time, and our operations, customer service, sales, pricing, maintenance, shop, IT, and support teams work together every day to keep everything running smoothly. This award belongs to all of you, and we appreciate the commitment that made this possible.
Our latest Meet the Team episode features Senior Operations Manager, Bintou Camara, who has been part of the MVT Family for a year. Her days are busy and unpredictable, with responsibilities that include dispatching, driver safety, and onboarding new drivers.
Bintou enjoys MVT’s culture and appreciates the diversity within our workplaces and the many stories that make up the MVT Family. She also shared one of her proudest accomplishments: a customer told her our site ranked number one for them, thanks to a 99.7 percent on time delivery rate. With kids at home, Bintou says MVT has given her a work life balance she did not have in her previous job. Schneider 2024 Carrier of the Year
Our ongoing partnership with Schneider Transportation Management reached a new milestone this year, as they named Mesilla Valley Transportation a 2024 Carrier of the Year. This award is given to a select group of partners who consistently deliver dependable service, strong communication, and steady results.
This recognition belongs to the entire MVT Family. Our drivers keep freight moving safely and on schedule, and our support, operations, and maintenance teams work together behind the scenes to keep our service strong. We thank Schneider for this honor. We value their trust, and we look forward to continuing our work together, guided by the principle Al Schneider shared many years ago. The only thing we have to sell is service.
