The ECT Dispatcher is responsible for assisting Operations to efficiently and effectively support drivers of our fast-paced organization. Key measures of success include:

  • Strong call handling performance as measured by the Call Availability Report (CAR)
  • High performance of fleets that are assigned
  • Be recognized by team, peers, and drivers as a key supporter
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service with drivers
Fleet Manager (El Paso, TX)

The Fleet Manager is responsible for supervising drivers engaged in operating trucks and trailers. Key measures of success include:

  • High utilization of drivers, tractors, trailers and other company resources
  • Maintain a high percentage of target miles for fleet
  • Keep a low turnover of drivers supervised
  • Strong call handling performance as measured by the Call Availability Report (CAR)
  • Be recognized by team, peers, and drivers as a key supporter
Planner (El Paso, TX)

The Planner is responsible for matching customer orders with drivers, trucks, and trailers in the most efficient manner. Key measures of success include:

  • High utilization of drivers, tractors, trailers and other company resources
  • Keeping company commitments to customers through a high-level of on time performance
  • Achieving a high level of Manhattan optimizer utilization
  • Maintaining a high level of preplanning acceptance
  • Showing continuous improvement in order rate per mile
Recruiter (Nashville, TN)

Mesilla Valley Transportation is seeking an energetic, fast paced ,and customer-service minded candidate to join our team for the position of Driver Recruiter in our Nashville, TN terminal. Since 1981, we have been committed to creating an extraordinary Transportation company by focusing on our Customer’s needs, while keeping Safety as our first priority. We are currently growing and provide a dynamic working environment with competitive compensation and world class benefits. Major Duties and Essential Functions:

  • Ensures onboarding of Driver is met according to hiring guidelines
  • Find best match between Driver candidate needs and MVT needs
  • Recruit at least 10 – 12 new drivers to the company each month
  • Recruited drivers remain with the company
  • Be recognized by team, peers, and drivers as a key supporter

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • experience in motor carrier operations a plus but not required
  • Strong sales experience
  • Communication skills
  • Motivated
  • bilingual experience a plus not required

Required education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Minimum Qualifications for all positions:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient communicator in English, Spanish a plus
  • Knowledge of motor carrier operations and geography
  • Intermediate mathematical and analytical skills
  • Competent user of MS Office
